It is claimed that efficiency of producing goods and services is enhanced by education and training, in societies facing a situation of accelerating technological development. The role of recurrent education as a national strategy of development in our country has been accepted.  The respective academic department identifies the needs for such programmes. The programmes are administered as additional inputs either independently or in association with other Institute / Industry.  The duration of such programmes varies form one week to 6 months.  These Programmes have proved very useful for students as well as for general public.
