This activity sensitizes the students to social issues and imbibes on them the values that would benefit the society at large. The NSS organizes social activities in which the students actively participate. During the academic year 2006-2007, the NSS unit of the Institute has carried out various activities for the students as well as for the society.

Blood Donation Camp: On 17th Aug 2006 a Blood Donation Camp was organised in association with Bharati Hospital and Akshay Blood Bank, Pune. About 137 students of BVUYMIMK actively participated in it and donated blood.

Red Ribbon Club Training Programme: NSS organized a university level one day ‘Red Ribbon Club Training Programme’ on AIDS awareness on 4th Oct 2006. Forty two volunteers from different colleges/ Institutes of Bharati Vidyapeeth University participated in this programme.
